Eddie as a guide was competent and could tell us a lot of interesting information about the nature, the people and the culture of North Sulawesi. He is able to bring you to places and people for away of the well known and typical tourist attractions to see the real life. He created a program consisting of different modules to meet exactly our wishes and was able to react flexible and shortly to all of our additional requirements. Furtive shy sparsely distributed infrequently seen cryptic: describe a few of Sulawesi's more difficult endemics. With roughly a third of Sulawesi's birds found nowhere else on earth, it helps to have experienced and knowledgeable local guides to assist visiting birders. Nurlin works regularly with local birders and reserve staff and will get you where you need to be to see what you need to see. Name: Wim + Marjon E-mail: Website: n/a Date: 19 Oct 08 Time: 01:11am	We kwamen Eddie per toeval tegen in de haven van Manado. Hij had ons de ochtend al gespot in Minahasa Hotel in Manado. Hij stelde voor om met ons een tour te doen door Noord Sulawesi. En zo gebeurde. De verschillende bezoeken aan & home factories & hadden overal een zeer ontspannen karakter. Zijn respect en oprechte openhartigheid zorgde voor de vele gastvrije ontvangsten. Ook zijn keuze voor onze chauffeur Jimmy met wagen voor veilig en betrouwbaar vervoer (een & must in het Indonesisch verkeer) was zeer geslaagd. Jimmy was zo een prettige reisgezel. Eddie is een erg enthousiaste gids. Attent in vele opzichten. Zo was hij altijd bereid voor ons als tolk op te treden. Nog voordat je Eddie kon vragen om advies kwam hij al bij je met een suggestie of was hulpvaardig. Op tijd een kop koffie of thee, een bord vers fruit. Altijd lachen, zingen en muziek maken; erreg gezellig ja Tijdens een rondleiding of tijdens het snorkelen kon hij enthousiast vertellen en zorgen voor onvergetelijke momenten. Eddie is een echte gastheer gebleken, iemand die trots is op de cultuur en schoonheid van de natuur van zijn land. Wij kunnen Eddie aanbevelen voor een ieder die het Sulawesi wil ontdekken. His English allowed us to enjoy and understand all of he sights we visited and also allowed us to interact with the local people. The highlight of our trip included watching the local cheese being made, clambering down the steep slopes to the waterfall, a walking the rice paddy fields at lunch and finely relaxing in a pool of hot natural volcanic water. Thank you so much !!!
